About This Section

This part of Coastal Remodel Logbook is given over entirely to kitchen renovation in Palm Springs, CA, from first specification through to what the finished work should look like.

Scope

Rather than covering everything shallowly, this section stays with one trade in one place. A page trying to address every trade in every city ends up saying nothing specific about any of them, and specifics are the only part worth reading.

What Gets Written About

Articles are written to be read once, before a decision. Technique belongs to the contractor, so it is covered only where a homeowner's choice depends on it.

Commercial Position

This is an independent publication. No contractor pays for placement, for a ranking, or for a particular opinion.

Limits

A page written in advance cannot see the property it is being read about. Treat it as preparation for getting a quote rather than as a substitute for one.
